Seriously though, I wouldn't go worrying about this, it's obviously a load of crap. The government is always going to use some type of scare tactic to remind citizens that they're watching (you). I really don't see how they plan to carry out this so called "spying" in our MMOs. I'm also drawn to the question of; why do they believe there is information being leaked out inside online games? Or even recruitment of terrorism. None of that makes sense. At the very least, I've not seen one bit of such thing going on ever in my life-time of playing MMOs. And I'm one of those suspicious, curious type of people with other players around me in a game world. I'm not saying that it isn't possible, although, I believe this is going just a wee bit too far don't you think?
How does the government plan to track down, read chat logs word for word, and even spy on other players? I'm not seeing that, unless they really want to waste their time doing this, rather than spending it on doing something more productive, like protecting the US from other serious threats. If they plan on spying in on chat logs or whatever the plan may be, what's next? Tapping in on game voice communication? They'll have to conquer that to get anywhere as well. We'll see how this "system" is carried out, and we'll see how far they get on this one.

I hope they don't dig up text logs if they ever get the ability to look at what everyone is saying.
My friend and I would be dead for what we have said, jokingly, but so often they'd have to think we were really not playing around. (and then if they dug up our D2LoD logs, and SC, and WC2........)
America is in Fear thats for sure. Thank god I'm not living in America I'm sure its flowing out from all media now. "we need to make sure..." "we need more security..." "happened once it will happen again..."...
Live in fear if you want but leave me alone and don't spy on me having fun. Most importantly leave me alone and dont try to controll my life and close me in a box! I need my freedom and my free will thank you very much America!
Probably this will happen on american servers anyways. God bless EU (until they start thinking like US :()!
